In the ancient traditions of the Mighty Khan's hunting parties of centuries ago, BD's Mongolian Barbecue celebrates a unique dining experience. The ancient Mongols celebrated their hunting successes in banquet style pavilions, slicing the meat and vegetables with their razor sharp swords and searing them on their overturned shields heated by a blazing fire. BD's Mongolian Barbecue, located southeast of Independence Shopping Center on the south side of I-70, is a unique, interactive dining experience. Customers create their own stir-fry entrees by choosing their own ingredients from a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, salads, sauces and spices. Where else?
I think both BD's are the best managed restaurants in the KC area. The restaurants are always clean, the staff is always friendly and attentive and the food is always fresh! Where else can you go to make your own lunch or dinner, have someone else prepare ALL of the ingredients, do the cooking, clean up AND do the dishes! These restaurants are a great value. Give BD's a try... you'll be glad you did!
