Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy, located at Zona Rosa, opened in Amarillo, Texas, in 1989, and features the cuisine of Old Mexico prepared from scratch using fresh produce and ingredients. The tortilla chips are light and crispy and accompanied by two homemade salsas made daily. one mild and one bolder, both made with fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, cilantro, herbs and spices.  Each entree is made to order and is brought hot to the table. Try the Stuffed Chicken Breast Medallions and the Talapia Veracruz.
